Hi All,

I've got a sticky throttle (ooh err!), i.e. the twist-grip doesn't close-off by itself (an MOT fail?).

Is there anything handle-bar end to check/adjust/lube, or does the closing action stem from the engine end?

TIA

Tony

Does it not close at all once released ?- this would suggest a broken spring at the TB end

Try checking the cable routing

Hows the action at the TB end?

Have you got aftermarket grips fitted ?- check they arnt fouling the action

Check yer cable return.  2 cables, one to pull open, one to pull shut....its not uncommon for the lock nut on the slack adjuster to work loose and the cable to get very slack.  Had one snap years ago on a VTR...same symtpoms as your describing.
