| Looks like possibly a brake light switch. The hydraulic type often retro fitted to the rear brake. |

Thanks Spoonz, Yes it looks something like that doesn't it. It doesn't seem to match anything on the bike (2001 RSVR), could well be something I bought in error years back. There's no part number. Anyways I've bigger fish to fry, the whole bike is in bits, so onwards and upwards....
