If you’ve fitted gen 2 heads or will they sit all funny / on the wonk?

First day off since jan8 after a month long event starting up at Thurso , loved that 760 mile trip from Portsmouth ( in one go ) …

Late , but happy new year to all 😊

Some fine tuning with a mallet perhaps on the rear header, but other than that the belly pan would need a trim.
I’m not an expert but it should go straight on otherwise. Would need a lambda plug too.

I’ll take the chance , turns out I bought from him earlier this year LOL

If I can’t make the system work , I’m sure I can sell it on again

Once again , I thank you for your help peeps

Just need to find some time and actually work on the bloody thing …

gen 2 system

so you have fitted the gen2 heads at last?

front downpipe will hit oil cooler

a gen 2 engine is offset  in the frame by 5mm so the chain side pipe will sit out further

rear down pipe may need a dent to squeeze through the swing arm

the collector needs the gen1 bellypan curting i’m sure on the clutch side

No redrat, zero free time to get on with it so I’ve just been glancing online and stockpiling bits in the hope I can get back on with it

Last year was so busy with back to back events plus one month my back crapped out on me again ( annular tear ) so spent a month off work and nursing a weak back since . It’s killed my enthusiasm for everything Ouch
