For those interested

Aprilia didn’t address the side plate dog bone issue.

In with the race torx link with Teflon washers. Aprilia seem to be fitting the crappy metal/rubber seals again certainly on the Tuono so I’d suspect the RSV4 to be no different.

Keep them clean and serviced all

I got mine as they did a limited run again for the Gen2 and RSV4 models.
They still have some for the Gen1 currently.

If people are after them, provided it’s a few I reckon they may do a special run. I can’t recall how many orders they wanted last time but it really wasn’t many

I asked the racetorx guy last year i think, about gen2 dogbone s and he said if there was enough interest he'd do a run of 125 i think. I posted on here and aprilia workshop fb page and told them to get in touch with him. He had enough pre orders to do it, so maybe he'd do same again

So other than Bling, what do the Racetorx dog bones give you over the original?

Bling aside

Thicker and one assumes stronger body as well as larger titanium bushes. Better quality seals (though the Aprilia upgrade option is good)What I don’t like so much is the caged bearings. They don’t spread the load as well as the oem non caged ones IMO.

But mostly Bling 🤑
