Can you guys help I have a poorly 2000 rsv-r. That requires a new starting clutch. Is it a engine out job?

No not at all all accessible on the stator side , left hand side of the engine..call the shop number at the top of the page

thank you for your quick reply last night, is this something the rsv-r guys could do for me. if so have you a rough cost? it id like to square the rest of the bike any way.

they can sort anything for you

give griff and the boys a call and they can discuss the sprag ..

the price varies as there are 3 parts to it and you may get away with one part or need all three but wont know until its all apart Thumbs Up

If you are a competent home mechanic you can do it your self and it's quite easy.

Did mine a couple of weeks ago. I changed all 3 parts while I was in there. Take your time and follow the guide shown above.
I was surprised how easy it was to do 👍🏽👍🏽.
