Well chaps the time has come to let her go.
In order to release funds to complete the building of my Aprilia Mille track bike I have reluctantly got to say "sayonara" to this wonderful machine.
I purchased her from a fellow forum member a couple of years ago and decided to make her my track toy. I do have the road bodywork but it's not pretty.
The Good.... 1989 F plate V5 in my name. No MOT but has been running on daytime only. Greame France Racing (GF) front forks GF CBR600 shock with Ohlins spring Ignitech programmable CDI 17" rear wheel conversion from NC29 520 pitch chain Talon sprockets Uncut loom fitted Bridgestone 090's. Front has done 2 track days and the rear one, only a hand full of miles on the road. Stainless downpipes, again I believe these are GF although I can't be sure. The most fun bike I've ever ridden on a track.
The Bad..... Needs a fuel pump, the original I still have. I put new points in this but at Snetterton back in July it was running constantly causing the bike to flood when off the gas. #4 carb needs replacing. I rounded off the mixture screw  However, I have a replacement body and mixture screw. The starter solanoid is on it's way out. Press the starter and get a clunk, press it again and the starter spins and your away.
The Ugly...... The road bodywork is tatty. I still have the 18" wheel with a 090 on which has also done just one track day and the original rear with a bald Metzeller and stiff and notchy bearings.
Pics....... As she arrived...
Ready for Trackday #1
Track Day 2
The last pic modeled by my Son.
Now then, the price...... She runs like a dream and I'll be really gutted to see her go. I've had a lot of fun. Bar some lock wiring ETC I reckon she'd be a great F400 racer.
£1200
Drop me a PM or call me on 07932851074. The bike is located 2 mins from J1 of the M2 Kent.
Thanks All. Matt
I'll include all of the road stuff too.
