I've taken a few photos of the process When I changed the seal in my slave cylinder. will edit the how to over the next few days Once I've got my laptop running. So its just pictures at the moment till its finished         I suggest the genuine Aprilia seal be fitted part number AP8106935 Hope this helps someone. |

Yep it does but I can tell you its holding up really well so far, the clutch feels a load better now its on and fitted. I did the one on my bike 400 miles ago picked this slave up from Johnboy today so thought I'd take the photos so anyone that wants to do a DIY job just has an idea |

I was looking at replacing my slave but this looKs like a much better and cheaper solution, dose the central part just pull out ? Also did you grease it before reinstalling it? Also Are there any other things that can go wrong with these slaves over than scoring on the bore do you know ? Cheers Steve |

The idea of a replacement is to get a lighter clutch action then standard .. Cheaper than oem...my story goes if you have 1 minute, I lost my clutch pressure at the lever towards the end of last year,it was always in need of bleeding and then it got to a point where no amount of bleeding would work, so being as the master had dampness around where the plunger went in I assumed it was the master so replaced it with a second hand one from the gen 1 model, but that wouldn't bleed and again it looked damp at the plunger area and the guy I purchased it from wasn't sure if u was any good or not so I guessed it wasn't, Any way I thought I would just replace both and be done with it just to be on the save side, but if I could just get away with replacing a seal on the slave to ensure its working as it should then I would rather that I think....
