Hi All
While in traffic my 2001 Falco cut out and when I pressed the starter button I the bike wouldn't start and the message "NO START" flashed in the right hand console screen. The engine Temp was 89C. When  I switched  the ignition off/on and then tried it again the bike started but cut out again when I tried to pull away. It did this 3 times and then ran normally and hasn't happened again so far. Anyone have any clues as to the cause and remedy?
Thanks

sounds like it may be the sidestand switch.

If it thinks the stand is down then it will cut the engine as soon as you let the clutch out if in gear.

It's not uncommon for them to fail either. you can try cleaning it up with switch cleaner but they are often coroded internally and require a new one. You don't want it to cut out on you mid corner or something.

Does your bike run with the stand down?
