Nice one! Ive ordered an Oberon slave and the .40 jet so il let you know how I get on. It's always been heavy and sh*te to find neutral but since I put some short levers on its a nightmare in traffic. Cheers buddy..

its easy to swoop over jet, practice with new jet with a nice tight fitting screwdriver and hopefully it comes out on the end on screwdriver. not a 100% improvement but much better than before , Oberon is a much better feel, just remember to adjust screw on lever.

Because if you don't, you might end up with a mashed up jet stuck solid in the casing (don't ask me how I know). Oh and welcome. |

I had the same nuetral issues with my 05' RSV R, and found it a bitch to get 2nd from 1st sometimes, got the jrt off line fron aprilliagenuineparts.com, fitting it is really straight forward and there is no need to drain the oil first, remove the cover screw and a few table spoons of oil will come out while you're swapping the jet, you'll need a bit of fine fuse wire or fine tweezers to ease the old jet out once you unscrewed it, it's a pain as you can't see through the oil. Be carefull when you tighen up the cover bolt as the casing metal is so soft , use a torque wrench to the correct value or you'll strip the thread from the casing, not good!! Mines still crap at getting nuetral when stopped at the lights but gear changes are much improved.

Thanks for all the advice guys, just swapped the jet and it was great.. Came out with screwdriver first time! Unbolted the slave, cleaned everything up, offered up the new one only to find its wrong one?? For a Ducati!!! Racks me off when stupid unnecessary mistakes like that happen. Bike now off the road untill new ( correct ) one arrives.. And you bet a pound to a pinch of sh*t the sun will shine untill the day it drops on the door mat then it will piss down 😁
