Tiguan Airbag fault code

There are 2 little cylinder devices ( 1 on each bonnet hinge) that flip the back end of the bonnet up when an object strikes the front crash bar hard enough to trigger them. The idea being to reduce a pedestrian impact with the screen to protect you and them. One of them is reading out of range for resistance probably. I would check the connections to them ( might be prudent to disconnect the battery if you’re unplugging them ). If that doesn’t work the faulty one will need replacing. It’s possible it won’t self clear even if you fix the issue and might need the codes cleared via a code scanner.
