Always wanted an urban tiger one which were the first foxeye ones in 94/95, i'm a total blade geek Geek cause they were the dogs bollox when i passed my test back in 94. The first ones suffered from crap carbs which made the power delivery all or nothing which was hectic to say the least!!! Gonna have another as my second bike next year i think Approve

Nice looking bike, before and after. Does look like ya could do with some adjustable rearsets to get the pegs nearer tour feet though.

Yeah thats a sweet looking bike! I'm thinkin of buying mine back from my mate who has owned it for the last 5 years, can get it for £1500 which is a bargain as i spent more than that on upgrades for it back in '98 LOL

I stand corrected, the carbs stayed the same but a throttle position sensor was added in 1996 as well as frame and geometry changes which in my opinion made the 96-99 the best blades ever.....but hey each to their own, world would be boring if we all liked the same!!

Best thing i ever did was put 17" front wheel on it, totally improved tyre choice as 16" front tyres became really scarce. Took a while to sort suspension out afterwards though finding how far to drop forks through yolks Confused

Yeah i know what your saying but they made it to perfect ( i like the raw early ones lol) but i changed out the swingarm  & shock for 98 RRW & RRR forks which improved the look of the rear as the arm was tapered .It was a very planted bike apart from the tank slappers on the power which was fun & i loved it , & not bad on the wrists not like the rsvr i ride now lol maybe im getting to old for the race rep thing might have to convert  to flat bar or see if i can put the clipons on top of the yoke might have a play over winter Big smile
