Not strictly in keeping with the forum's theme, but I know a lot of you guys are into the older "analogue" bikes...

Reluctantly I’m selling one of my Pinkies, so here we have a great example of the iconic YZF750 in the much favoured classic colour scheme. This is one of the original 1993 4HD full power models. Registered on the age correct “L” registration number.

The bike is in truly superb condition. Very original and genuine. Starts straight on the button, runs & rides brilliantly. No untoward engine noises, no smoke, runs smoothly, handles superbly & pulls like a train! Suspension compliant and free from stiction. All electrics fully functioning. Fork seals good. Wheel, fork & swinging arm bearings all good. This is one very fast, competent bike!

Low mileage of 34,700.

Fully HPI clear. V5 present in my name.

MOT until February 2020. Currently on SORN

Nearly new chain, good sprockets front & rear

Oil & brake fluid recently changed

EXUP valve recently overhauled and working fine.

Plenty of life in the brake pads all round.

New Varta battery

Dynojet carb kit fitted, makes the throttle response so much crisper.

Tyres are borderline, but if the right price is met I’ll throw in either a good quality barely used set or a new pair.

As to be expected of a 26 year old bike there are a few minor marks & blemishes, but nothing major. Worst points are a few minor scratches to the LH bellypan and a couple of touched in marks on the tank. The front wheel could do with repainting too. Please see the photos. It really is in terrific condition given its age.

The bike is a Dutch import, first registered in the UK this year.

Overall this is a great example of an iconic superbike and appreciating classic that can more than hold its own against more modern machines. Qualifies for classic insurance too!

Delivery (fully insured, professional bike carrier) can be arranged for most of the UK at £110. Highlands & Islands a little extra. Please note the bike and delivery charge must be paid for in advance.

Inspections and viewings more than welcome by prior arrangement. The bike is in North Cambridgeshire

Any questions, or for more hi res photos, please message me

Looking for £2300 for the bike.

I've seen a spotless sp for sale lately but again in cocktail for £7000, so tempted but couldn't live with the colour.
