Hi,

I'm sure this is a topic that comes up frequently, but I want to get the wheels on my Mille repainted from the standard blue to gold, similar colour and finish to the OZ wheels. Not because I want to pretend they are something they aren't, but because I think it will suit a black bike better than the blue.

I'd be interested to hear personal recommendations for wheel refinishers, especially if you have had wheels done with something similar to the OZ gold. I have no problem with sending them away to be done, so location is not critical (but if you know someone in Berks, that would be a bonus) - I'm more interested in getting a good job done than finding somewhere convenient.

Thanks!

As said central wheels or redditch shotblasting are very good.

I'm trying to make up my mind between powder coating/painting or just leaving as is.

My first though when I started my refurb was powder coating and I found this place which seems to come highly rated   https://ctc-powder-coating.co.uk/our-work/powder-coated-wheels/powder-coated-car-wheels/powder-coated-motorcycle-wheels/

Looking forward to the next track day

Another +1 for Central Wheels (Coleshill)
Got to be really careful with gold, as there's some that look so bright and blingy they look stupid.
I had my Oz's done in Cirillium Gold. (Closest match to the colour gold that Ducati *spits* uses..)
Couldn't fault CW on price, quality of work and service.

I did drop an email to Central and they suggested cerakote as a possible alternative to powder coating, as it has a matt finish.

Do you have any pictures of the wheels done in Ducati gold? Central mentioned Curium Gold, but is that different to what you had done?
