Bloody freezing 8 degrees but felt like 3! Not ideal and nearly stacked it a couple of times but thankfully stayed on and the bike was spot on after the winter overhaul. Shakedown complete ready for the open pitlane at Cadwell mid May.

Nice one Adam

Glad you enjoyed it. Iā€™m sure you were sweating after each session mind? Plus the cold air gave more hp šŸ˜€

It is slippy there in the cold though eh. Iā€™m going in May and may do the Bemsee round the last weekend too,if it all goes okay.

Looking good. Do you know the lad behind you ?

Lucky lad Adam, nice to get out I bet?

Just a thought for you. If you don't have any decent photos of you on track, make sure you get some sometime or you will look back in years to come and have that 'I wish I had' moment. I got to drive and F1 car many years ago and even though there was a pro photographer there I didn't take them up on any of their offers. I have since tried to find the company to no avail so all I have are 1x1 watermarked samples. If only!

Bike looks much better for the paint job aye. Works out well that the Gulf stickers match the orange of your fairings and the trackday group sticker matches the green of your wheels.

No mate no idea just picked that shot as it showed the new colours nicely. I've never experienced snetterton that cold and I couldn't believe how little grip there was. Murray's was the corner that caught me out twice and a fair few riders crashed there as well as palmers. I'm back there in June so you would expect better temps and consistent grip again. I was wondering whether the lack of use last year played a part too. I'll come along if I'm off work when you are there mate.

Cheers Ray it was ace to finnaly have some " fun" again. I've got plenty of pictures on all the different bikes I've used over the years and usually buy a few but I wasn't overly impressed with the pictures this time round so I'll probably buy some from the double header at Cadwell instead of the the new look on the Zx6r.

Hahaha I thought that too mate, my friend who done the decals matched the orange really well and also the " BadApple Racing " decals colour matched to the wheels. Hopefully you'll get a chance to see it if you still come down later in the year.

Ah yeah glad you mentioned the BadApple Racing decals as I'd not seen them on the first look. Yeah for sure, looking forward to seeing you down there later this year. When it's hopefully warmer ha. Otherwise for sure, I'm just cutting across the grass at Murrays šŸ˜‚ Too many horror stories recently about that corner.
