Posted in general as well, I'm interested in things to avoid mainly, I've heard about gearbox issues, and the odd engine issue.

ony really the bikes with the quickshifters that seemed to be affected buddy .....some stators but very rare ...

im looking to buy one myself ....want want want...

piagio are the perent firm for aprilia

there are some pit falls to these bikes,

make sure you have your valves check early like 6k, aprilia state valve check @12k, way to late, youll have tight valves by then!!!!
according to head tech uk, wont mention names, if you buy a race ecu, you wont have a warrenty left unless you buy the akropovic system, even though aprilia uk site states race ecu for aftermarket slip ons and full systems,

dont be tempted to service the bike your self = no warrenty!!
dont put a slip on = no warrenty!!!

if you do need work return bike to stock form, that inc the exhaust valve!!

Great bikes i've had mine for 4 years and only issue was condensation in headlights.
If it's broken it's not fixed!

I have modified mine with rsv4 tail piece, werkes comp exhaust, flapper valves disconnected, and a gabro racing reflash. BONKERS!
If it's broken it's not fixed!
