So seems cheap although mileage is high? I prefer a gen 1 as image had a rsvr gen 1 in the past but just want a decent tuono to start commuting on so I'll put some mileage on her

£3000 for an '09 Tuono?

Yes ,Yes, YES

I paid £2900 for mine and I'm well happy, mileage is irrelevant really with these bikes

Spotted this as well as I'm currently looking for a gen 2 Tuono. There's quite a few about but normally 4k plus for what seems to be a decent one. Is mileage really irrelevant Ian G? I'd like to know your thoughts on this please as I'm wondering if I'm being too fussy on the mileage and service history

Wilko, the fella said it's got a few cosmetic issues but didn't specify just said to come view it which I will be doing this week at some point. But as you say the mileage is something on my mind and no service history so not a good combination as we don't know if shes been serviced properly.

Good luck mate, you might end up with a bargain there. Its got RSV standard end cans which means it probably had race cans on before and may be running map 2. Something worth checking. Let us know how you get on.

These engines should go on for ever,if it's been used a fair bit at least it's been reliable

Think mine had around 26K on it but at that price I didn't hesitate

Depends on what you want I suppose,I got mine from a workmate as something to spend time on out in the garage rather than a full time commuter.

£3k for an '09 T is pretty good going I think,£2k would have been better but as most are £4k and up it suited me

Really an old bike like these are only worth what anyone is prepared to pay when you boil it down to basics, try trading one in and see what they offer Wink

I might be selling mine.. Its a 59 plate. 24000 miles. I think it has full service history to 18'000 miles. brand new tyres, akrapovic stainless cans plus originals, seat cowl. numerous stainless bolts and titanium caliper bolts. white/silver model. It is in outstanding condition apart from bubbles on the tank which happened a few months ago because I stored it in a damp garage I have removed a few of the bubbles by piercing them and using a hairdryer. If I was keeping it I would buy a bagster tank cover to cover bubbles on tank. Really stunning bike, but need to sell to buy new car
If it's broken it's not fixed!
