Hi everyone Can anyone remember seeing a link to an article describing how to synchronise the Mille throttle bodies. The link may have been on AF1 forum, but I can't access it at the moment. The link describes the complete set-up.

The only one i can recall is the set of web pages for the Falco here:- http://www.geocities.com/sl_mille/index.html?20062 Same engine, so it all should still apply. Was that the one you were looking for m8?

I read somwhere that this is also the case for earlier models. Ive always balanced my 00 to the same reading. Im sure I read somewhere that there is an argument that because of the firing intervals the vacuum should be different to take this into account. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Firing interval makes no difference, gauges are damped anyway.

Hi, I need to balance the throttle bodys on my 2001 RSVR but I'm not having much luck when following the process in the haynes manual. The year and model number indicate that I should use the two screw adjusters within the ECU to set the CO and synchronisation. Here is what I've done so far: Using a carbtune II Note: I have an Aprilia ECU chip for the Aprilia shotgun exhaust 1. Remove required hose on the rear cylinder to attach first vac hose 2. Remove blanking rubber from the front cylinder ro attached second vac hose 3. Warm bike up to normal operating temp 4. Set idle to 2000-3000 RPM 5. Check carbtune measurements When I try to balance the throttle bodies using the ECU it seems to have more effect on the fueling, as apposed to the balancing. After a while I gave up and set the ECU screws back to the original position. Any ideas? I've had to setup a fuel injection system before, never had all this hassle with my good old gixer11 and four carbs!! Thanks, Alan

Some eeproms in the ecu disable the trimmers. not sure if that is the case with yours.
