Fark me! Shocked

Nice bike no question,but £8000?

The only thing is loads of dreamers are going to see that and immediately imagine their old shed must be worth at least double it's real value

Hey Ho,keeps residuals buoyant I suppose Confused

All Gen2 bikes are low mileage hehehe Wink

Ive seen that loads of times its stunning and someone probably will pay close to it one day. I've an 1198sp on my watch list been on there forever as its expensive but if I had the cash to burn id buy it even knowing its over priced just because I want it! We all dreamBig smile

Aside from the decals are there many differences between the Haga and a standard R?

The Haga is mainly a sticker kit and a top yoke. Think they got Akrapovic as well.

The Edwards rep had more in the way of performance upgrades.
Question everything.

He does seem to have some nice kit in stock. If he only has good stuff and (Importantly) gives good customer service (Rare) then he will get a good reputation as the go to place for this type of bike and some people will pay. look at this:

There's an Edwards on there for 4k at the moment, i've thought that was a decent price for a while as its been on there a few weeks. I only just managed to convince the Mrs a 2nd bike was a good idea, think id be pushing it for 3 otherwise id have been tempted!

Yep absolutely insane but fits this thread well and I stand by what I said earlier if someone wants something badly enough or has money to burn they'll buy it, makes the haga look cheap

Bloody hell no wonder you are hooked on bikes starting at that age good work.  I have a 140cc pitbike to get running and ridable over the crap months but like you the missus is not impressed that I intend to teach my girls how to ride it they are 9 and 7 but both very good on the dirt on pushbikes.

its either in their blood or it isnt mate.
tryin to stop them will just make them want to do it more,as you know pal.
my 6yr old hates bikes so far, loudness scares him and hes scared ill get hurt or killed
so its a real battle with him and the mrs,
but even he said, daddy, you were alot happier when you had a motorbike,
didnt realise it showed that badly.

Its a tough one with kids. Bikes have always been a massive part of my life way way before my missus and children and I've never been told to get shot luckily but I do sometimes worry about what could happen especially as my wife's an a&e nurse but have to put that sh*t to the back omef the mind or id never ride again and like you its very noticeable when im not riding im a moody bastard . As far as the kids go one loves bikes the other tolerates my obsession but she's the one with the talent really is a good rider on a mountain bike. I get them both involved with cleaning and maintaining their own bikes and the nipper " helps " me do bits on the ape until she gets bored. You don't have to force anything they either do or dont and you're right try stopping them doing something they love and they'll hate you for it, I just hope they don't get into anything too expensive hehe gymnastics costs me enough!

I sold a black one in 2013 and got a 1199s the 1198 is a terrible bike imho.
i know its each to their own and its ducati, rare and expensive but trust me that does not equate to good.
