Ive always bought renthal chains and sprockets in the past. Looking around it seems talon sprockets are fairly popular too. Is this because they're cheaper or better?
Also. I have standard chain and sprockets and would like a bit more acceleration. Not too bothered about losing a little top end but i dont want to go too silly. What do you find is best? Thanks Mat |

Don't think there is anything between them in terms of function. I don't like the colour of the Talon so I stick with Renthal because I like to keep things under stated on my bike. I went up 2 teeth on the back. seemed a good compromise or go down 1 on the front.

I fitted Rental 16/44 sprockets and Tsubaki Sigma xrs chain. Check out my post TSUBAKI CHAIN RIVETING if you're thinking of buying one.

I wouldn't worry about losing any top end. Anything over 150 (and probably a lot less now?) and it's a potential jail sentence sharing a cell with Big Bubba. With the new speeding laws, that may be some time with him....
If I remember correctly, some of the "R's" came fitted with a 17 on the front, but had a 16 taped under the seat. Cheaper to try a front, than buy a rear (unless you want bling on show). |

And here, always had 16/44 but a few months back when chain and sprockets needed changing went 15/43. A tiny bit more vibey but well worth it. O4 tuono |
