It's 3 phase with a transformer mark.
Will get a list of what's with it from my dad. If I send you a pic will that help?

He also has a raglan 5 if anyone is interested in that.
It's a bit more money than the s&b though

Hi Arran.
May be interested in the Raglan five, depending on whether it is a little john range or loughborough trainer and if it has screw cutting gearbox. Ade

It's a late 5 with screw cutting change wheel gear system
He is looking for £500 for that though but it does have quite a few bits like taper cutting stuff with it. Single phase motor. Just waiting on him sending me some pics and details. Probably been distracted by something shiny......

Info on the raglan.
There is some minor backlash in the cross slide but this has not prevented accurate work, feed divisions are 0.001". It runs smoothly throughout its range, it has a 1HP single phase motor, the suds pump is 3phase but wired for single phase although I have never used it preferring the oily brush method of lubrication. The following items are with it:- 1 x spare 3 jaw chuck 1 x 4 jaw chuck 2 x sets of external jaws for 3 jaw chucks. 1 x set parallel jaws 1 x taper turning attachment (I have never used) 1 x Turret (I have never used) 1 x fixed steady 1 x spare tool holder 1 x running centre 1 x half point centre 1 x Driving plate Change wheels for alternative threads If anyone wants pics pm me an email or phone number if you have whatsapp |

Thanks for the info Arran.
That is a keen price and a great starter lathe, I currently have a Myford and was looking at upgrading, but this is very similar in spec to what I already have, so will pass on this. Good luck with the sale. Ade
