Hey all - apologies if this topic has been flogged to death here, however I just got my 2022 Tuono back from the dealer, went to pull the seat off and YAY - bolt / rivnut is spinning in the frame.
Any thoughts on how to approach this would be appreciated. Driving me crazy as I was JUST going to flash it tonight. UGH. |

If you can get a riv nut insertion tool you may be able to tighten the riv nut enough to use. It didn’t work for me on my Rsv so I drilled the old one out. The problem is it falls into the subframe and rolls around so I dropped a little araldite onto the loose bit to fix it in one place. Then inserted a new one and it’s been fine ever since.

Thanks for the tip. Looks like I'll have to do just that.
