Hi

Looking for some help with my pre 2005 Rs125 front master cylinder.

I removed the lever, as it was snapped, and I could pull out the piston/plunger out of the body of the master cylinder.

There was no circlip holding in in place, and I can’t see a groove for the circlip??

Should one be fitted?

Also, I cannot find a rebuild kit for the master cylinder, is there anywhere I can get replacement seals?

Thanks for any info

Hi thanks for info

I’ve had a look at this, but it doesn’t show the internal parts of the master cylinder?

And their rebuild kit is no longer available

I've rebuilt Brembo MCs before and the piston is sealed to keep the fluid in and the outer rubber dust seal has a metal outer ring that is an interference fit that keeps it in place.
Try these people, if anyone can help you, hopefully these can.
People say I don't know Jack Sh1t; but I do, he lives next door.

Thanks

I’ll have a closer look tomorrow and check the fit of the dust seal
