Looks like oem rearsets from a third party bike/make, mounted onto a relocating plate. Then an Aprilia oem heel guard bolted on. Whole setup looks set a long way back and a bit heath robinson to be honest.

Oem position of M/C, which isn't ideal hence why someone tried to do a mod on your bike.

I'm not 100% sure but at a guess it looks like a Suzuki style rear set maybe a srad or an early k model rearset

Looking around the OP setup looks to have come from a Honda, probably a cbr 600. The M/C is common to lots of Honda's but the relocating plates etc look Cbr with the cbr heel guards replaced with aprilia ones.

And some of us do this, using the master cylinder from a RSV4 complete with integral reservoir: |

That's almost as much as I paid for the RSV4 master - for a bit of plastic tube! |

Ah yes,but that cheap piece of (leaky) plastic pipe is a genuine HRC part and so you have to pay through the nose to earn bragging rights

Looks very good Taz. What setup is that for the rears? Is this an RSV4 rearset mounted on an older mille? I was just talking about doing this today. I have an 01 and want more pedal feedback and really want to move my MC behind the rearset. Is it possible to mount the RSV4 Rearsets on the Mille?
