Could anyone tell me the correct torque setting for the front wheel spindle clamps at the base of my Ohlin's forks (Tuono Factory 2006)

The general wisdom is 8-10Nm. It seems like nothing but anything higher cracks the fork bottoms

as L88 says , you have been warned ! You can marker pen them to keep a check on them if you want . ?
