Hey Paul....i think it was you at brands yesterday...sure i recognised you're bike in the pits...if it wasn't you sorry[:I].... kept a look out but didn't bump into you at all...never mind, would have been nice to have had a chat... what can i say....excellent day...weather superb...racing wonderful....gorgeous ride there too...especially past the community speed watch busybody residents on the other side of the road out from otford to brands...[:D][}:)] Lovely to hear all those twins going round too rather than whiny four's all the time[:p][;)] congrats to our friend james williamson though who got two third's on his zxr400...he hopes to get third in his championship and its his first year too..well done[:)]

Not me Lorenz - although I'd like to have been along - we were at Thruxton the day before for the final race on the North Gloucester Championship - Chris finished 2nd in the Championship on his super tuned Ducati 999R (which has had two £4000 engine rebuilds this year !!).We stayed the night at the circuit and I did'nt get home to Guildford till 2 PM on the Sunday - I gather it was agreat deay though. Not sure what we're doing next year, Chris still fancies running something Italian and different - we may continue with the Ducati or consider an MV Agusta in Powerbikes.

I've booked myself ... flights at 0.01P each way with Ryan Air .. 5 Star Hotel in Milan (single room) at £85 - total cost of trip including airport transfer £109 - I believe the return train fare to Birmingham is close to £80 ! If you want to really save some dosh, you can fly out and back the same day for £20 (0.01p flights plus £9.99 airport taxes each way. For those who have'nt been, the Milan EICMA show is about 20 times bigger than the NEC and unlike the NEC which is now a kind of glorified Street market for bikinng gear, the Milan show is actually a major bike show where all the manufactures exhibit and launch new models etc - on top of all of that Milan is a bit more up market than Brum (no offenceintended) and the food and wine is excellent !! Food for thought for some perhaps ....

Hi paul, that sounds excellent...i didn't think to check Ryanair but easijet cost me £58 in total....i thought that was excellent and being gatwick the plus for me is no car parking and will cost me a £5 to get back on train sunday night....i guess ryanair is from heathrow or stansted? I don't need a hotel now as staying with my lovely french brunette friend saturday and going out with her friends saturday night...but on booking.com found a couple of really basic but seemed clean hotels not far from station for £27! There's just no contest..if i do preview day that's £28! I guess you can prob get trade tickets too for NEC which saves a bit but i think the whole day is just too dear to bother with now.... hey if you check EICMA 's site you may be able to get foreign trade tickets too....if you have a spare by any chance i'll be eternally grateful![:D] What day are you going? I'm doing the 18th Nov saturday....if you are too i'll leave my no with you at the shop if you want to meet up at all. If not have a great time...i know i will[8D][:)] P.s. K2 restaurant not far from corso buenos aires is tuscan style cuisine and very nice but not expensive...i went there on a sunday evening and it was very busy and open late...was recommended by my italian friends as being as good one.
