Hi all,

Does anyone know if there is a link to the owners manual as a pdf ?

I'm a new owner so it would be handy.

I ask as the red key light on the dash has started flashing since starting it today, where as I'm sure it wasn't flashing before.

Thanks

yes, you have to be a premium member £5 a year.
the downloads are in the premium sector once you have paid.

No owners manuals available on here just service manuals From memory . Aprilia used to offer them on the service aprilia site but withdrew them a few years back. Not aware of any other download sources, might be worth a google though.

Red key light flashing is the immobilisor ecu not recognising the key or a virgin immobilisor ecu. Assuming the bike is running and the ecu is not new then the immob ecu is probably on the fritz.

Shame about the owners manual.  I've a print out of the service manual so that will have to do.

Spoonz I spoke to the old owner today and think that the immobilizer has been 'defanged' and apparently the light eventually goes out.  Fingers crossed.

Sounds plausible although the immob light should be out if it’s been done properly. If it runs ok and the light doesn’t bug you then your good to go

The owners manual doesn’t have anything unique. Most of what’s in it is also repeated in the service manual.

If its flashing when ignition is off that's normal. After a couple of days without use turns off to save battery if i recall correctly.
