Always wanted one as for me they’re one of the best looking bikes ever made, not the fastest by today’s standards but quick enough.
Very tidy condition, it’s an 02 and has Ohlins shock, pvm wheels, Pfm brakes, full akrapovic system, race tech fork kit, and a few other nice bits, I’ve had Kais service the suspension and rcd have made me some rearsets. |

I’ve been going over it and tidying a few bits, fitted a harris fuel cap and it came with a harris screen brace fitted and a brembo master, it had been stored for a few years and the previous owner got it running again and serviced it, I had to put new tyres on as they were dated 05 and 06 so metzeler racetec’s fitted, I noticed earlier that the chain rivet link seals are crushed so either a new chain or link will be needed.

That’s been a favourite mod for many years but if I was going that route I’d put zx7 bodywork on a 9r😁there’s a few 9’s with the 7r tail unit on and they look really good.

Had a c2 model zx9r years back, great bike but would of been wicked in zx7r bodywork.
Wish I’d thought of that when I had her !

Just lovely! One of the best front ends ever for feel and stability if not the sharpest to turn (At least from stock) although it did feel like your hands were down at the wheel spindle! And as you say, maybe the best 'Face' on a bike ever (916?) I had a 98 model that I chopped in for my RSVR in 2001. The RSV handling was a revelation in comparison but I wish I could have kept both. |

Hahaha, just posted that I had ZX7r's and open this as the next thread!
Bloody brilliant bikes, my mates had GSXR750's and Fireblades, but they all preferred mine for the road, it was like a heavy old tractor in comparison, but the motor had more torque and the front end feel was amazing, you seemed to sit in the bike unlike the GSXR which felt like you were perched on top! The gearbox was very similar to the Tuono, erm, industrial shall we say? Did a couple of track days at Oulton Park, back when the TL1000's came out and the Thunder Aces were popular, and it performed really well and I managed not to show myself up!
