Hi All,
Does anyone have any photos of lower fixings for the oil tank on a gen 1 handy? Feeling really think here but I have a couple of bolts left over which have rubber heads & a hex shape to fit a allen key. I presume these are to help with vibration but since the heads are rubber a allen key just spins!
So close to having the bike back on the road now just in time for winter...
Thanks

i think what you have there are called silent blocks that have come apart i think these should be checked
regularly as they often fail which probably aint good for the rest of the tabs

Yes, just checked the diagrams & thats what they are called. Just cant work out in my head how they fix together! Thanks for your help, Ive ordered a couple of new ones since the rubber does look to be slightly perished.
Thanks

if you're old one is in two pieces i think its the vibration that breaks the weld when I put the new one on i put some duck tap on the back of the spanner so it holds the nut so you can screw the block on to it
