Found the sidestand, AF sell them in the US, so got one on order now.
Also ordered the Abba adapter and a R&G rad guard. The bike is already covered in R&G stuff, clutch and gen covers, end weights, spidle bobbins and frame bobbins, also a tail tidy and clip on bar set......pretty impressed with previous owners, bike is in good fettle.
Had some fun on it tonight on way into work......its a beast for sure, had me smiling the whole way! The Tiger 1050 before it was just a ride......the difference between a night out on the booze then picking up a fat lass, or picking up a fit girl from the gym who has energy'a'plenty.
Bonkers if you want it to be....its a great bike.

TBH I'd go for the fat slapper everytime
BTW what's the issue with the side stand, I'm new to the RSV-R but the stand seems fine |

RSV or V4R?
RSV gen 2, stand isn't long enough. Easy fix, weld a 10mm plate to the bottom of the stand, job done.
V4R the euro/UK side stand is too long, and very straight! On level ground you have to watch where you park it as a fart can blow it over....it gets much worse as the rear tyre wears too. The US market has a different stand, that puts the contact further away from the bike and allows the bike more lean.

In regards to lights, I fitted a pair of Philips H7 HID effect bulbs (Ill double check next week when I get home) but made a huge difference, even with light tinted protectors on they are very bright
