Went into the garage this morning and saw a small puddle of oil under the Tuono.
After having a look underneath the bike it seems to be coming from the after market Ohlins.
However, where the piston rod exits the main body is dry.
I'm guessing a seal has gone in the rebound adjuster mechanism where it goes up the rod into the main body?
Whats the going rate for a rear shock service; any recommendations for a service centre, the further north the better, I'm in North Yorkshire?

Hemi, that's great, they're only a few miles from my work.
Have you used them before then?

I used Kais years ago  to service my forks  and the turn around time was superb  - 5 days from posting to getting them back to the North of Scotland.

but if you can find someone really local to you then that is a boost

Well I emailed RS and they got back to me with a turn round time of 3-4 weeks!!
Rang KIAS near Manchester who said 48 hours, so it's off to Manchester at the weekend to drop the shock off to them.

Well, dropped my shock off to Mick Gardner Racing in Barnsley yesterday as they were 30 miles closer to my work location than KAIS. Checked them out on Google before hand and they had some excellent reviews even though they seem to be into cars as much as bikes, but hey, a shock is a shock.
They explained the refurb procedure and even told me I'd get the shock back with the same settings as received. Will take about 10 days, but I've put the original Sachs unit back in the T for now, so I'll find out just how bad these units are after all!
