Jumped the gun a bit there? Seriously though, an Arai helmet is never going to be a duffer but sadly they don't fit my head shape

I had one that passed away in a racing high side.
I replaced it with two more! Only because i couldn’t decide on the design I wanted so brought both. Excellent helmets. Had a few others like Shoei and Shark, again liked them, but the Arai has the edge even if the visor still seems a faff by comparison to other brands. As mentioned previously it all depends on your head shape! The helmet however is excellent

I've worn Arais for longer than I remember.
Got a Chaser V atm, but just worked out it's over 6 years in use now, so time for a replacement. Next spring I'm going for an RX7 with a visor/flip up sun visor. Not bothered too much with fancy colours, hope to pick one up with the visor for about £600 or less.

Nice. I do like the Arai graphics but I don’t have a Arai shaped head!

Oh, I thought you were joking earlier! Arai helmets are more of an oval, egg shape whereas Shoei (That I have worn for years) are more rounded. Generally, most people fall into one type or another and aren't comfortable in the other (Whichever that one is). |

I bought my first Arai back in 1989, a blue and white Rapide and if I recall bought from Teign Valley Motorcycles in Newton Abbot, Devon who ceased trading many years ago. I recall the salesman saying "You've either got an Arai shaped head, or a Shoei shaped head"
Now on my fifth - Chaser V Doohan TT, and craving for a Rx7 Hayden WSB Helmet City seem to be having some good deals on at the moment.

When buying 'Bargain price helmets' always check the manufacturing date. A helmet manufactured this year at £500 is better value than one made three years ago for £400 as it has three years more life left in it.

I bought this late last year, first arai I’ve ever had and it’s a nice comfortable lid.
Hayden’s rx7v Laguna seca, I’d love the nori haga rep as well. |

It won't disappoint, great lids. I bought the tt22 one this year, didn't really need it as i bought the limited edition joey dunlop one last year. Had a weak moment watching the live tt stream 🤣. Can't fault them personally. Love the hayden rep. Enjoy buddy
