so not long had the bike have done one track day, while I had the tank undone thought I’d check the air box has k&n filter, but my concern was the little slick of oil ? Not aware it should be in there any ideas 💡

If it's in the air box, its because oil breather empties into it.
As long as its not to bad just mop it up and check your oil level.

Sometimes it's an indication of an over full oil tank, so that's the first thing to check.
Many have retro fitted mods to prevent oil saturation of the air box internals, if you search you'll find them.
Personally I think the original set up allows the vacuum effect in the air box to extract oil vapour through the breather.
I've fitted a longer breather tube down to the belly pan into a small drain bottle; it's never had more than 1 or 2mm of oil in the bottom.
People say I don't know Jack Sh1t; but I do, he lives next door.

if it's a slick, it's likely been overfilled at some point. Many don't read up on how you check the oil level on a dry sump motor and do it cold.
