had a 2002 (silver frame) and a 2003 (black frame) both in yellow years back and properly scared myself with those two LOL

Your not wrong,

Was less than originally advertised , as it is what seems an absolute minter, I figured they will be hard to come by and will continue to appreciate. (Should have bought one 2 years ago at 2k cheaper)

I've never made money on anything but would hope in this case if in 5 years I wanted to sell it, I might actually have accumulated some value.

I had an Impreza STI type R years ago that would be worth 30-40k now and I sold it for 4700 quid LOL was mint

just seeing the AP Workshop 15 year video, made me did out my old RSVR as it must have been 14-15 years ago when I had her and Griff serviced her and popped some nice rearsets on

Will do this weekend.

Slightly disheartened to find the tyres appear to be 2012, whilst in great nick, in my mind thats too old so now on at the dealer about it as they told me 2020.

Wanted to take it for a spin this weekend but wonder if better safe than sorry now

stealer said they were 2020 as I had asked the question.

They have (now) agreed to pay for the replacement but they still suggest the MOT passed and tyres are good condition.

They are and my argument was on the surface they look mint but would Pirelli say otherwise, so I have emailed them directly.

I'm in no doubt they would say replace them.

Look like some track scrubs fitted too

For the price you’ve paid and the condition the least they can do is a pair of brand new tyres, especially due to the misinformation

Lovely bike but get them changed asap, I’ve bought a few bikes lately and the first thing I look at is tyres, brake pads, brake fluid etc etc, they will feel like Bakelite.

yep totally agree.

pain that I've got to go faffing now getting them done, was keen for a run out this weekend but I'm a little dubious.

Annoyed as it was one of the first questions I asked and was told, no worries they are 2020

Shows the bike done limited miles and the fluids all look nice.

Its had a full service supposedly but I guess it's now in a van going back the other way to AP, should have just insisted it went there and got collected when it was ready. Live and learn

Are you sure that's the date code? Every other one I've seen has the letters DOT before them, which I can't see on yours?

I'll look again but couldn't see any other reference on it and assumed it was week 20 2012
