Yes buying one this week.
The rear is singing its final tune, the asphalt is so course here. It eats tires. The rear has maybe 4500kms Dunlop sportmax quallifier II. I am shocked.

Well took a spin in the sunny, but chilly weather today.
Got, a missfire up one hill. Like bap bap bap bap, really fas. Then no more fore the rest of the trip.167km. And hit some bumps, fast. It cut out for a Second. Hmm strange. No error codes, in dashpanel. Got efi light, but engine ran fine, stopped, turned off, then on again, light gone. Think i have to check all my connectors again.

Don’t worry about the increase in chain wear as realistically it’s not worth the effort. I’ve run all sorts of gearing and I’ve replaced chains and sprockets as they are basically a consumable part. Race bikes replaced each year for no reason really. I replaced my road bike after 10k because I felt like it not because it was worn out. Honestly 15/42 is what I’ve run on mine and I could not measure the wear. I don’t how many miles you do but we are talking years before you need another. Change and enjoy

Indeed mate
As for ice, once he is checking his switches As an idea if it continues check the fuel pump tea bag filter. And whilst tank is off it, the reg/rec connectors. One at the regulator join and the one in the centre of the V it being an early gen 2. I had engine cut outs when hot on the Gen2 race bike and the brown connector, the one in the centre V was dodgy. Tested stator and that was fine to regulator, but reg/rec was goosed when I checked it to the battery. Also white block to fuel pump connector including the one on the front left under the carbon panel. That’s cropping up as an issue with water ingress

Have a look at my thread here: http://rsvr.net/topic27149.html about an intermittent cutting out caused by the ignition switch and how I solved it (With another members indirect help). I'm not sure if the Gen2 used a different switch to the Gen1 but worth a look and play about by wiggling the key in the ignition with the bike running. Have you had any issues with the bike not going into 'On' mode or pump priming when you first turn the key as that too became intermittent with me? |

Same area but different cause on my late Gen2 Tuono I had the same issue when parking my bike,I narrowed it down to steering angle. Jiggling the harness to the ignition switch made or broke the feed to the bike. On removing the switch and stripping it I found one of the wires had come unsoldered and had retracted up into the harness by about 16mm ! Somehow when the harness was made this wire had been threaded all round it's neighbours and so when it was soldered to the switch and installed that one wire was under tension when the steering was turned. Unwinding it as much as possible allowed it to gain enough length to re solder comfortably plus I wrapped the harness differently this time so the wires were side by side rather than in a bunch giving a much easier job of moving with the steering. Probably not your issue but while you're investigating I thought it worth you giving your wiring a good look if you remove the switch.

Yes front wheel bearings, after my trip around Iceland, the front did just not feel right. Omg they where bad.
Thank you, and you are welcome to Iceland sir. Will show you some hidden pearls if you come. Acctually talked to Gabro, about getting his tune too, with other ignition tables. Will deffenetly change the bike i think.
