Looks like a loud pair of cans Not clear from the pics but do the silencers clear the swingarm when the suspension bottoms? |

Thanks for all the compliments.
It is beginning to show it's caracter and beauty. I have no idea, if i am running map1 or 2 But it pulls hard, and only pops from time to time, on deccel. Guessing map.2 from power and smoothness. Will have to check somehow, thinking i will buy some obd connecters for aprilia, and use a car obd to read software nr. 😃

Well it was a while since i rode the old one, but. You sit higher on the new one. The old one felt like more torque down low, but new one comes like a 750 on steroids when you pass 6500rpms. Since this is factory, steering, damping and such is top notch. In my book. I have to say rhis is more than enough power, for anyone on the street. I love it. F...kn hate the dash piece of sh*te. Trying to figure out what to do, do not want to pay big money for a new one.

Problem with the gen2 dash being canbus you can’t swap it for another make of dash easily as the functions run through it, I think the newer dash’s buy companies like hm work but aren’t cheap.

Yes but still.
I used to be an audi tech. And by their/my Standards it is not a full canbus, if you understand what i mean? They handshake yes, maybe. But on real canbus systems you have ro code new dash in, if you change it out. Just stay with me here, and on this you can take old/new, plug in start and drive. I know there are much more systems and other cu's to talk to on a car but still. Could it be just as simple as the first canbus systems, and you put in propper resistance an it will start. I messured and can high/low give tot.238ohms So i am going to try this, some triumph owners had success on their bikes with resistors. So f it try and fail/or not. The following quotes from the 2005 Chassis Workshop Manual may confirm "No sensor (apart from the fuel reserve sensor) is connected directly to the dashboard ; the dashboard reads from the ECU. All sensors/switches are connected to the ECU." it ia a bit presumptious of Aprilia to claim that the RSVR has a CAN bus, when all of the sensors and actuators (which one might ordinarily expect to be CAN-controlled) are hard-wired into the ECU. Are you with me, just trying to think loud, and hear what you guys think/mean/know. Thanks John
