Hello,
Can anyone recommend a good place to have my 2002 RSV serviced in Norfolk please? Previously I've used Southern Cross for years but have recently moved house to just north of Norwich so looking for somewhere good up here now. Thanks in advance Jules |

I live in Norwich, whereabouts are you?
I have travelled to AP before but there is also an excellent Italian specialist in Harlesdon called Carl Harris who I've also used and I recommend. Nice ride to lovely b roads the whole way. He used to race the Gen2 RSV and knows his way around them.

Thank you for the suggestion - I'm in Wroxham so not far. I've owned my '02 since new and I did use Carl once or twice in the early years as it is on the way to Mum's who lives in Beccles. Good to know he is still going. I'd be happy to use Carl or AP but it does mean that I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere without alternative transport. I'd be stranded if the job turned into something bigger e.g. needed an out of stock part etc. - hence looking for someone more local who knows their way round an RSV. Thanks again Jules

Agreed - Google says it's 3.5 hr non-stop on the boring A11/A47/M6 route. From experience, I might just squeeze it on one tank on those roads. So whilst I'd love to have it serviced at AP it isn't a very practical option at the moment. |

Brings back great memories of boating holidays on the Broads as a child. And Beccles is lovely.

It's been a while since I posted the question but a quick update as it may be of use to others.
After a lot of delays caused by various other distractions I finally have my RSV serviced and MOTed curtesy of Reynolds Motorcycles in Wroxham, Norfolk. https://www.facebook.com/Reynolds-Motorcycles-417457011922776 It's a one man band company run by Lewis, a genuine guy who knew his stuff about bikes and RSVs as far as I was concerned (based on the knowledge I've picked up over the 20 years of owning an RSV from owners on excellent forums such as this one and af1). Whilst it was only an "oil change" service and MOT (as I'm not sure what my biking year will entail), I'll definitely return for anything from tyres to bigger jobs like full service, valve checks. Lewis knows Carl Harris (mentioned earlier) and said he sends work to Carl when he has too much on or is isn't something he can do such as needing special tools for some of the Ducati jobs. The bonus for me is that the workshop is 5 mins walk from home. Hope that helps someone. Thanks Jules |

Is that the one on the road in near the garage? Looks like someone's house as you drive by?
Glad you got sorted 👍
