The front brakes on my 2019 rsv4 rf are fantastic but can they be made better by adding a rc 17/18 master cylinder

Depends what is fitted already, are you looking for more braking power? Changing pads can make a big difference for a lot less outlay, I’d then look at mc’s and discs.

standard from factory is Brembo there really isent much better from OEM, the 17 and 18 bikes like yours is 19x18 on the front, the 15 and 16 bikes was 19x20, you could try diffent pads, like some Brembo cintered and some high end fluid, but steel braded hoses all round with one of the best OEM masters theres not much but pads and fluid unless you get to the telephone numbers section of the catalogue are you having the ABS kicking in?

Or larger diameter discs with caliper spacers, I’ve got 330mm iron on a couple of bikes and it does make a difference.

Since the RF runs 330mm discs on a decent set up, as the lads say your best bet is to upgrade the pads.
I swapped mine out to SBS pads from the same set up and they now have a greater feel and bite.
