I’ve got a stainless oil tank from a Gen 1 R that was replaced with a regular tank when it started leaking.
Does anyone know of a repair service - the seam along the back of it has a tiny tiny weep but it’s enough. Cheers, J

My original tank started to leak where one of the mounting tabs was welded on, I just found a local welding, fabrication company and they welded it for me, being stainless and very thin they are prone to cracking, I later found a very clean and tidy one for sale but they’re getting rare and expensive now.

Mine is on the shelf and was repared for the second time. Now it was soldered in the same position you mentioned. A tiny tiny crack where the oil started leaking very very little when it got warm and thin enough.
Have the standard unit on the bike.
