Hello lads, hope ye are all doing well, long time no chat, been 2 years now since I sold my tuono. Have been nipping around on this since, I loved the tuono, might get one again down the road, but as you can see from the picture an sv is more usable on these roads. I have crash protectors, gear indicator,  ktech fork springs, hel braided lines, zx10 rear shock, wider bars and changed to a 120/70 front tyre instead of a 120/60. Can't see myself getting rid of it anytime soon, love it, putting up more miles on it than I did on the tuono.

Nice looks really clean too. Such a popular machine
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left

I have an SV sat in the garage.
Previous owner was a real wxxnker and I’m having to sort out his lame handywork.
About to give it replacement heads, high flow exhaust valves and gas flowed the ports. Dynojet kit (it’s a ‘99 bike) and dual cans.
It’s ok, we put Diablo rosso 3’s on it and it does ride nicely but it’s just a little too slow and you’re wringing it’s neck to get it to go.

So, I suspect it won’t do many miles and just get looked after and stored carefully.

Sounds good, I'm assuming you must have good suspension upgrades done if you are going to that trouble. You do have to drive them on a bit alright 😄.
On twisty roads its fine, its overtaking cars I miss the grunt of the tuono.

I'm sure i heard somewhere that a bore kit is available for sv650, can't remember what but 720 sticks in my head,  I ran a sv for a year and it made me giggle but made me ride like a twat as it was so funny 😄

70-ish hp stock, the word is that at 90hp or there abouts the whole thing lunches itself and disappears up it’s own arse.

They are masses of them around so cost effective thrills 😊
