Aprilia have history in the way they treat their number 2 riders. Don't think they will make EA the number 2, he's the only rider they've had that can get results.

Aprilia hasn’t the money to pay for a champion rider, unless they get lucky with a newcomer, so this is the closest they are going to get any time soon.

There’s no way they are paying what Yamaha did and I think they can use him for development. Dovi had potential to do this but chose not to. But like vinales I don’t think either can win a title now and are good for development only for Aprilia.

It’s hard to say if there is any team other than tech 3 that treats it’s second rider very well by comparison. Unless ktm get involved that is. Rossi in Yamaha was the number two rider for years but was treated better than the other rider. Ducati and Honda both have dreadful reputations , the former even for its number one rider at times.

Aprilia's parent company makes over 1.5B a year, and im sure thats why there has been a huge shift in results at grissini i remember the new CEO was all about racing and got a big check of mommy and daddy for some R&D .

i fully agree about dovi and mav, both hit and miss

So, things moving fast for Aprilia. Their first podium and now Vinales is racing for Aprilia this year at Aragon.
