took the bike out today with the new 15 42 sprockets wow certainly livens things up a bit really sharpens up the acceleration and its so much nicer in town with the traffic. they should of came out of the factory like that. anyway now for the problem seems to be one thing after another i dont know if its a coincidence or not but since changing the sprockets the speedo doesn't work it reads very eratic regardless of what speed im doing its constantly fluctuating between 5mph and anything up to 140 mph im not sure where it gets the speed reading from could i have dislodged something.

Hi

Glad your enjoying the bikes new found ooomff

As for speedo cable. runs off the rear disc bolts and the sensor is on the rear caliper bracket just above the caliper itself.

Maybe it’s dirty or the cable is loose. It joins by the clutch housing under the black rubber boot.
Normally they just give up the ghost and stop working full stop but about £100-£120 for a new item from AP

Also have you changed the disc bolts as the sensor finds it difficult to pick a reading off stainless steel, check the face of the sensor for damage.
