Hi

Been a while since Iโ€™ve owned a Gen1 but that sounds normal to me.
Combination of the cold start and mods would make it smell fruity. In fact any Aprilia Iโ€™ve ever owned seems to smell richer than any other make Iโ€™ve had.
Normal checks like a clean air filter and soot on the plugs should tell you if itโ€™s of concern
They flood very easily if you use throttle on a cold start with the fast idle lever

I get the same comments too, though it runs very well. Haven't had the fuelling checked on a dyno though. That's with both stock chip and FR100. Trim pots on ECU near 12 o'clock where they brought in the best idle and throttle response after balancing the air bleed on throttle bodies. Think like James says, just a characteristic of the bikes. Heard on AF1 that the v60 likes to be on the richer side, rather than leaner too.

I had the same concerns with my Gen1,and I've never bothered with dyno time to correct it either

How long since the TB were balanced. Also, are you on the correct map on your FR200 chip?

When Griff did my TB balance, it was way off with one cylinder running rich and the other running lean. I had mine done after I added my collector and airbox mods so if you haven't had it done since your mods were done it will be worthwhile

FR200 chip has two maps, one for collector, can and open air box the other for just the collector and can with std airbox.

You switch maps by cutting / re-instating the wire to the ECU that de-restricted the bike from new.
