Don't know the tire and can't really find an answer from dunlop for track use.
32PSI cold I assume. ->How warm does the tire get after the turn (+ pressure)? Or in other words: did you try another slightly different pressure?

Aren't Qualifiers a very old tyre anyway?

I'm probably wrong, they may have bought out a new version ,but anyway it depends on the carcass construction as the Sportsmarts are/were Ntec and have a very stiff carcass and can go down to silly pressures.

I seem to think fast riders could get away with something like 26 F  &  20 R on them for track use.

I think I used to run something like 30F & 28R cold on them but it's been years since I used Dunlop on track so I can't be sure now

Looking forward to the next track day

I'd say start at 29 and see what they read straight after the first session and adjust accordingly.

Pirellis are famous for having a soft/flexible structure and as you say they require different suspension settings to most other tyres. I couldn't believe how harsh the ride was when I swapped from Pirellis to Bridgestone.

Again I don't do track so can't comment on the actual question.
