Recently bought an 03 RSVR for just over £3k. Didn’t need much but I’ve swapped gearing, bled brakes and removed a bit of gold bling and put standard exhaust back. Set suspension and took for a quick spin and it’s a lovely thing. Got loads of questions so will read up

Gorgeous Gen1 one of the best colour schemes and to the purists the best bike Aprilia ever made although I'm a Gen2 man so would have to disagree with that . Lots of information if you can work the search feature failing that ask away and theirs plenty of knowledge accumulated on here.

It was like this when I picked it up but I didn’t like the exhaust, the gold infills, heel guards and bobbins so they went along with the silver res caps. I should sell the exhaust tbh.

It’s going to be used mainly on track too, suspension has track settings in and I’ve tweaked them a little. Could do with knowing ride height settings for track use and preferred rear tyre size

Mivvs are loud and being a short can offensively loud imo. Looks way too nice to track but they are awesome trackday tools especially the tighter circuits. Enjoy. Are the res caps decent ones or crappy Chinese tatt?

Lovely bike, but too good to track surely? Question

I was going to ask why you put the original can back on but looking at the stubby it makes sense. Big smile

It is lovely but ultimately it’s a £3k bike, tbh I’ve took all my bikes on track from new including a Panigale 😁

That's what they're built for, it's a shame to keep a nice bike away from the track.

Welcome to rsvr! Looks like you've got a good clean bike there.

Stunning bike! Surprised that the forum landscape gardeners haven't advised of the best weed control flame gun to use for those paving slabs!! The Mivv is a great can and maybe a full stock would have suited better - that said, the standard can look superb!
