Hi everyone
I brought my first Aprilia I've ever owned back in October as a bit of a winter project, I brought a 2007 tuono factory and what an animal it is! This is my first twin as I've previously owned all in line 4's. I've got a few things left to do but near there now |

Looks a little different now but mainly just a tidy up.
Jobs I've done Lacquered the front mudguard due to a 5 pence size chip on the front. Paint the white on the tank due to it flaking and added a pearl just to the white then re lacquer. Paint the white on the tail unit due to scratches. Vinyl the white on the seat hump to match the pearl on the rest of the bike. Take the exhaust off and polish then put back. Shot blast and re paint the radiator covers. Scotch all the casting on the engine to clean the furry aluminium. Re powder coat the rear shock spring. Sort out the problem of it spitting fuel over the tank every time you accelerate, I found the overflow on the left side of the tank to be blocked to the point it needed drilling out, also it was missing a rubber gasket between the tank and fuel cap and last of all put an o ring under the seal on the fuel cap to make a better deal. Spray everything and clean with acf50 apart from the brakes Things left to do Look into the brake discs on the front juddering at slow speed. Bleed the back brake as it doesn't seem to keep a solid pedal. Possibly get a quick shifter. Get it on a track day |
