Looking for an Ohlins Radial front end  - forks, calipers yokes etc (not sure if the Ohlins axial yokes will be ok so if anyone can advise then appreciate it).

Must be clean, straight and realistically priced.

Big smile Nice one Del boy, they really update the bike and look spot on.

Your yokes are fine.

I'm looking for some black M4 calipers, will have the std radial ones spare soon if it helps at all mate

Question everything.

Hi Rick,

Yeah the more I look at them, the more they grow on me in their looks. I'm not honestly sure if they make much of a difference to handling etc, but for the bling factor, definitely.

Appreciate that offer for the calipers and if I can find a set of forks I'll take you up on that offer. There's a lad breaking a Gen 2 BB at the moment but front end going overseas - however if it falls through then I get first refusal. The 1060 engine is still available (or was a couple of days back) but to be honest, too much hassle for me to try and get it into a Gen 1 which is a bit of a shame - would have been nice Wink. Keeping hold of the yokes is also a bit of a saving then - cheers for the heads up on that Thumbs Up

Fingers crossed get them. I bought axial Ohlins, wanted radial. A week later some radial ones came up in vgc. Not a mark on them and perfect nitride. So I bought them as well and had them rebuilt. Flogged the axials on.

I saw the gen 2 he was breaking. Was nice and bit of a shame. What was he asking for the 1060?

Ohlins is Ohlins, the radials however really look a lot nicer. Choice of calipers as well. You won't look back.

Question everything.

the 1060 will be worth it if you are keeping the bike

Thats true but to be honest the amount of work involved in swapping the motor and probably the electrics too is beyond me. I'm ok with bolt on bits etc but not wanting to get out of that comfort zone - I've had 8 plus years with this engine so I'll stick with it despite the well documented gains of the BB.

Yep and that's a road I don't really want to go town. As much as I would love a BB at some point, I would rather get a Gen 1 BB engine and a straight swap. Pretty scarce I would imagine tho.
