Ok guys as a few know I’m getting close to completing my jester conversion and I’m thiking about exhaust options - I know there’s a few on here with the rear end conversion done - so any photos ? Or what have you done.

I know the whole exhaust length and bore size arguement but can the rsv get away with a slightly shorter overall length system ? If so how short ?
The main reason is the new subframe and tail unit doesn’t really lend itself you an exhaust hanger so a long heavy can that’s unsupported is out of the question.

Just looking for options before the body work returns from the body shop.

Thanks in advance

Tricky one isn't it? There's no where for a hanger, unless I presume you could modify the seat with a slot, to allow for one onto the Jester subframe? Probably only need a couple of rivnuts into the subframe for the bracket. Might be one of your only options for a longer can?

Gez does his own  unsupported stubby cans and link pipes iirc, as you probably know better than me, but like you said it's the old short can conundrum.
Question everything.

On my exup years ago I ran a cobra can and only had a bracket off the back of the rearset and it was fine, had to make it but it never moved.

Yeah I’ve looked at that - it’s only to take a bit of stress off the joints really.

Diablo - yeah I’ve looked at the ones Gez does - just not sure about the power delivery with them
Might have one made - then it’s just a case of sorting core size and length 🙈🙈

It's all I did it for on mine, the bracket only supported the end of the link pipe and had nothing on the can.

If you don’t want to lose any power with a stump a modded collector assists   With a stumpy can so should be ok with what you are thinking of

Sneaky peak before the decals get started.
Pic doesn’t do paint justice - black and white pearl and the quality is incredible. My best mate from school painted it and put hours into the prep - good job he’s fussy

I have an Xtreme Stainless (Staffordshire) Stubby which I had on my RSV. It worked ok. I dont need it any more. If you look at the early pictures of the Jester Hooters bike. Its the same as that.
