Hi Guys
I need advice on indicators to run with a twin high level system on my Mille. I assume I need short stem and very small and I want to go with LED for the brightness. I am looking for pics of what others have installed and possibly the brand also. Thanks a million. |

Chinese led http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rear-LED-Indicator-Brake-Light-w-Bracket-For-Aprilia-RSV-4-Millie-RS-125-250-/321801083218?hash=item4aecd6d952:g:x2cAAOSwu4BVmrfg http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-APRILIA-RSV-1000-MILLE-2002-LED-REAR-LIGHT-WITH-BUILT-IN-INDICATORS-/261923927786?hash=item3cfbe1f6ea:g:1~UAAOSwhcJWG8Ir Has indicators and brake light integrated together. Some cars have brake and indicator together so I don't see why you can't ? I have similar on my bike no pulls yet, and plod commented to me he had seen bikes like the integrated 'everywhere' ! Lol |

I used some tiny "mighty Atom" led's indicators and made some very small simple brackets that mount off the rear bolt of the number plate hanger (on the side), putting the indicator in line with the top of the numberplate.
I did the diode mod, so I can run all 4 flashers with an led relay and no resistors http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-indicators-mini-tiny-atom-black-finish-/162482818996?hash=item25d4bb0fb4:g:X34AAOSwgQ9VnmNj You can no doubt find them cheaper if you look around. I'll try and grab a decent pic if you get stuck buddy. |

I have a bit of an issue with small indicators. We complain about drivers not seeing us and then we make our indicators almost invisible!

These ones are really bright buddy, more so than original fitment.
I agree 100% with where you're coming from though safety is paramount and it's the same sort of thing when riders are outraged by people pulling out on them... but don't tell you they we're doing 90 in a 60 limit! It's a tad difficult to find a good looking and workable solution to flashers and (Rene) high level cans on the gen1. Renegade used the same brackets that Redrat posted, of Gary's bike above, with original flashers. But I just couldn't live with those big brackets dangling down, below the pipes, kind of spoiled it in my eyes. Never got any when I bought the system anyway. My new system is lower than the Renegades were, so I could now run bigger flashers if I felt the need. I mean they are tiny ha ha Fully road legal though and were advertised as the smallest legal ones for the UK at the time. When the Rene's were fitted, these were visible over the top of the cans from the side etc. I couldn't fit a bigger flasher in the gap at the time though But running the diode mod and these flashers, is bright! There were some legalities in question with the led rear light/indicator combo's (the ones where the indicator is actually in the rear lights). Some say they're legal others say not. But apparently, I was told that the indicator is hard to see with the brake light on. It would have been a good solution, were that not the case. Yes, I have a girt big barn door for a number plate, it's my age. Got slightly bigger arrow shaped led's on the front. Everything is now led except the HID low beam. |

You can get number plate brackets with adjustable indicator plates, so you can place them where you want, possibly lower down, would that help?
