The flexible oil pipe on my gen 1 Tuono which goes from the bottom of the oil tank into the left crankcase appears to have a tiny nick in it and I'm going to replace it.
Is there any reason why I can't replace the original pipe clamps with Mikalor self clamping spring hose clips.
Am I right in thinking this oil pipe is non pressurized?

Thanks for the info guys. The original pipe from Aprilia Yorkshire is only £21 so I ordered one; mainly because it has a sharp 90° bend at the crankcase end. Will go with the self clampers.
