I don't know if its any help. But I had Gilles on my Gen 2 and they were too uncomfortable for me because of the brake cylinder relocation. I found they pushed my right foot out further with the boots I wear than my left and I didn't like it. Nice foot rests though.

But Griff sells foot rests for the RSVR that also have the rear brake cylinder relocated but its not so far out as the Gilles so they will be more comfortable. I looked at RSV4 foot rests at the time but never pursued it so don't know if they will fit.

For the road I ended up going back to the standard foot rests as I found them more comfortable than everything I tried. Only thing I wish about them would be to be able to move them further backwards but that would be it.

I would speak to Griff and get his advice on footrests.

It looks better than that ' HRC' bodge of a bit of clear plastic pipe for sure LOL

I was going to do the V4/KTM swap as well as I've just got some AP rearsets, but I decided to fit the standard cylinder & res just to see what it looked like.

Looked good enough to me so I decided to save the money as my rear brake has always worked fine even with the standard pegs.

I've got the rsv4 master cylinder bolted on to my AP rearsets.
Really straight forward, no need to replace the brake line, you just need a couple of small spacers from the rearsets for clearance.

Wouldn't be at all surprised,I heard the side stand was a 125 or 250 part which would explain a lot.

The mirrors are interchangeable as well

Most factories would raid the parts bin rather than make new parts.

Bought myself a set of AP rearsets from Griff and the lads. Decided not to compromise and do it right first time.
When I get round to it, plan on starting with original master cyl. and fit rsv4 master at a later date just to neaten her up.

Greg8806.
RSV4 rear-sets most definitely fit directly onto the Gen2 RSV.
Here's a pic of my '06 RSV1000R with the RSV4 rear-sets fitted.

In reality, actually cost a few quid more than fitting aftermarket rear-sets. Buying the master cylinder/reservoir new was the biggest outlay.
I prefer the "fitted in the factory" look, so, for me, definitely worth the extra cash.

Still tempted with the rsv4 master at a later date. Just need to route the hose and brake switch wiring and its done

Kamm Matt.
No, it's the original, standard brake light switch. Simply re-route the cable and screw it into the RSV4 rear-set. You can see the cable in the picture. One note; When I fitted the brake light switch, the brake pedal had to be all the down before the brake light would come on. I placed a 1mm washer between the switch and the rear-set which solved the problem.
Are you on RSV Zone forum too? I did a full conversion explanation on there for someone.

TomskiY, it does look like OE job with the RSV4 rearsets on, very nice.
